We already know just how incredible microneedling can be to treat a range of skin concerns. But what good is a microneedling pen without a microneedling cartridge?
The 16-Pin Microneedle Cartridges are best suited for the face and targeted applications. Applications include deep wrinkles, loose and sagging skin, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation.
They are single-use only for hygiene and safety reasons so it's important that you safely dispose of your microneedling cartridges after each treatment. You should only be microneedling every 4 to 6 weeks which means a pack of 5 x cartridges could last you more than half a year!
Zobelle microneedling cartridges are registered with the Australian Therapeutic Goods Register (ARTG) which means they’ve been through strict testing protocols to ensure safety and quality.
They are made from high-quality stainless steel and titanium with a fine needle gauge for your comfort. Each Zobelle Maxima replacement cartridge comes in an individually sealed pack. You may wish to sterilise the cartridge yourself using rubbing alcohol prior to use however this step is not necessary as all cartridges come sterilised.

Please follow the instructions included with your Zobelle Maxima Microneedling Pen device.
Microneedling cartridges lock safely into the tip of your microneedling pen and house the tiny needles that penetrate the skin's surface to create what we call ‘microchannels’.
These microchannels stimulate the body's natural healing process, prompting the production of collagen and elastin and makes all of the incredible benefits of microneedling possible; more on that here.
The microneedling cartridge that you choose will be dependent on the skin concern that you are looking to treat. As a general rule of thumb, the cartridges with fewer pins are good for the face and for more precise, targeted applications. The cartridges with more pins are more gentle and therefore better suited to larger more sensitive areas such as the neck and décolletage, arms and thighs. Generally, we recommend:
You need to change your microneedling cartridge after every treatment. They are single-use only for safety and hygiene reasons so it's important that you safely dispose of your cartridge after use.
Each cartridge comes sterile and individually wrapped with a small cap over the needles to protect them. After you've finished your treatment, unlock the cartridge from your pen, put the safety cap back on to cover the sharp points, put it back inside the wrapper and safely dispose.
